Arlene J. Kohlmeyer, 54, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Friday, January 30, 2009, at Ripley County Memorial Hospital in Doniphan.

Mrs. Kohlmeyer was born November 30, 1954, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to Dossie Payne and the late Claudia (Faulkner) Payne.

On February 14, 1975, she married Michael Kohlmeyer in Colorado Springs, Colorado.. He preceded her in death on August 1, 1988.

Survivors include one son, Matthew Kohlmeyer Green of Doniphan; one daughter, Dina Massey of Springfield, Missouri; two sisters, Janice Colburn and Yvonne Hawkins, both of Doniphan; one brother, Melvin Payne, of Jackson, Tennessee; and one granddaughter, Corina Massey.

Visitation will begin at noon Monday, February 1, 2009, at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, February 1, 2009, at the funeral home with Bro. Russell Chitwood officiating. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery.
