Dear Ernie, Pam, Kevin, and Ange, How sweet it was to share time on this earth with your wife, mom, my friend. She made everything "better" no matter where she was or what she was doing. She spread love and acceptance to every child and family she met when working at East Carter...and everywhere else too. That ever-present smile gave us all hope, her determination to always do the next right thing made us feel we had someone in our corner, a true friend who cared, special. For a moment now the sun won't shine as bright in this world because she has traveled on, but, she has planted so many seeds of kindness and love that have grown and will carry on her cause. My heart hurts with yours and my heart rejoices with Jeanie because she is home, well, and smiling.

My heart felt condolences to all of the family of this precious woman. Such a sweet spirited, loving woman. She was always smiling and laughing . The love she had for people shown on her eyes and through her actions. Our mother Estella Catlett loved her too. I don't know anyone who could say an unkind word about her. Now she is rejoicing in her brand new body and her and mom may be be having a conversation about school and about Ernie! May God bless you all.

This woman was such an angel. She showed everyone she ever met that she loved them. Miss Jean taught me so much about being a momma. I learned so much from her over the years, spent a lot of time with her. My heart is broken for our loss of such a beauty. Happy for the joy and beauty that she is experiencing now. I am soooo very sorry to hear about your Mom. I loved her so much. She was such a big part of my growing up. I remember the first time she made chocolate gravy for breakfast after one of the hundreds of nights I spent at your house. She laughed and laughed at me because I thought she had burnt it.
