Gerald Allen Czerwonka, 63, of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014, at Southeast Health Center of Ripley County in Doniphan. Mr. Czerwonka, son of Allen and Glenna (Pepmiller) Czerwonka, was born October 7, 1950, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He had been a flooring installer. Gerald was a member of the First Church of God in Doniphan and had formerly served with the U. S. Navy Reserve. Gerald was a great and loving father. He enjoyed life and especially liked all sports, fishing and camping. He was always willing to help anyone, anywhere at anytime. On October 31, 1970, he was married to Judi Stolz in Pasadena, Texas, and she survives. Also surviving are three sons: Fred (and Wendy) Czerwonka of St. Joseph, Missouri, Marty (and Jessie) Czerwonka of Fairdealing, Missouri, and Jeremy (and Stephanie) Czerwonka of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, his mother, Glenna Czerwonka of Doniphan; one sister, Bernita (and Alton) Thompson and one brother, Charles (and Brenda) Czerwonka, both of Doniphan; 13 grandchildren, Cameron (and Ashley), Kelby, Lexee, Kale, Decoda, Trenten, Nolan, Maliki, Abagail, Bayli, Juliana, Winnie and Addyson; and 2 great-grandchildren, Asa and Edy. He was preceded in death by his father, Allen Czerwonka. Visitation will start Tuesday, August 12, 2014, at 4:00 p.m. at the First Church of God in Doniphan. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the church sanctuary with Brother Larry Earl officiating.
