Robbin Irene Thompson, 51, of Doniphan, Missouri, departed this life Tuesday morning, July 22, 2014, at the residence of her parents in rural Doniphan. Ms. Thompson, daughter of Joe and Lana (Langford) Seay, was born May 18, 1963, in Burbank, California. Prior to her illness, Robbin had been an elementary school teacher in the Doniphan R-1 School District for many years. She loved being a teacher and delighted in working with children. Robbin had a bubbly personality and lively sense of humor and she was always laughing. She frequently entertained her many friends with her funny stories. She enjoyed cross-stitching, cooking and spoiling kids but her greatest joy was being a mother to her three precious children. Robbin was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Missouri State Teachers Association, Rainbow Girls and the First Church of God in Doniphan. Surviving are her three children, Bradley (Ashley) Thompson, Brian (Ashley) Thompson and Carolyn Thompson, all of Doniphan; her parents, Joe and Lana Seay of Doniphan; two sisters, Rosina McIntyre of Doniphan and Laura (Blaine) Murrell of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; and three grandchildren, Riley, Bentley and Remington. Visitation will take place Friday evening, July 25, 2014, from 5 - 8 p.m. at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon, July 26, 2014, at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brothers Larry Bashaw and Larry Earl officiating. Burial will follow in the Amity Cemetery.
