Willard Howell, 83, of Doniphan, Missouri, departed this life on Friday, May 9, 2014, at Southeast Health of Ripley County.
Mr. Howell, son of Nathan and Muriel (Wilson) Howell, was born August 3, 1930, in Hayti, Missouri. He had been a general laborer and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Howell was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
Surviving are three sisters: Georgia Stephens and Brenda Bizzell, both of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Evelyn Webster of Marthasville, Missouri; two brothers, Thomas Howell of Potosi, Missouri, and Richard Howell of Elsberry, Missouri; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lola, his parents and two brothers, John Howell and Kenneth Howell.
A graveside service will take place Saturday afternoon, May 17, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethany Cemetery near Doniphan with Brother Shelvie Stephens officiating.
