Virginia Rose Barnes-Henning, of Doniphan, MO. Passed Sunday at 10:45 pm 5/4/2013 at Southeast Medical Hospital in Doniphan, MO. Born August 29, 1940 in Senath Missouri to Laura Sue Crum Barnes and Carter Woodard Barnes She graduated from Osceola High School and Attended Secretarial School with her sweetheart George Lawrence Henning in 1958, whom she married June 4th 1958. They like to smile and giggle about running away to get married in her red satin prom dress to Mississippi. The family shared many happy hours and fun times. Virginia is survived by one sister Linda Lee of Kennett, three daughters, Debra Sue Snyder of Poplar Bluff, MO. Beverly Lynn Nicholson and (Guy), Rebecca Ann Kirkland of Poplar Bluff, and one son Steven Lawrence Henning and wife Martha Jane of Doniphan, Mo. Jeremy Story and wife Marnie, Christopher Story and wife Laura, Samantha Hedspeth and her husband Curtis, Donja Kirkland and Felicia Kirkland, Stephanie Henning, Jennifer Henning and Michael Henning. Step grandchildren: Rosey Snyder, Angelia Snyder, Johnny Snyder and Tonya Baker. Along with her parents she was proceeded in death by her loving husband George Lawrence Henning on 5/7/2005 and her brother Ronald Barnes and wife Ann. And two great grandchildren. And twelve beloved great grandchildren and many other family friends and loved ones. A celebration of life will take place on June 7, 2014, from 5 - 7 p.m. at the Memory Cabin at Ran-Cha-Ra near Doniphan. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
