Don Kallner, 71, of Fairdealing died Friday April, 25, 2014, at his residence in Fairdealing, MO.
Mr. Kallner was born February 21, 1943, in Peru, IL to the late Floyd & Marjorie (Edwards) Kallner. He was a member of the Springhill Missionary Church; where he worked at the Springhill School of Hope, when he was not enjoying his time hunting, fishing or playing a round of golf. Mr. Kallner joined & served in the U.S. Navy. He was a Pastor for over 30 years having served in California and Washington State.
On June 1, 1963, he married Cheryl (Carter) Kallner in Riverside, CA. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons Sean (Sonia) Kallner of Fairdealing and Scott (Kelly) Kallner of Redlands, CA; five grandchildren, Casey, Cheri, Annemarie, Mia & Josiah; one sister Jean Romack of Janesville, WI and one brother Bill Kallner of White Lake, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Barbara Eastman.
Visitation will be from10-11 a.m. Tuesday April 29 at Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m Tuesday April 29 at the funeral home with Richard Carter officiating. Burial will be at Springhill Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Springhill School of Hope.
