Nancy Ann Jackson, 78, of Doniphan, Missouri, departed this life Thursday, March 27, 2014, at Westwood Hills Rehabilitation Nursing Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Mrs. Jackson, daughter of Milton and Inez (Randolph) Cole, was born February 9, 1936, in Desloge, Missouri. She had been a homemaker. Mrs. Jackson was an accomplished organist and pianist and an active church member. She loved gardening and especially enjoyed spring flowers. She was married to Hatley W. "Tiny" Jackson on December 21, 1986, at the Green Trails Baptist Church in Chesterfield, Missouri, and he survives. Also surviving are three daughters: Ruth (Joel) Barton and Jeannie M. (John) Rabbitt of St. Louis, Missouri, and Lynne (Aaron) Brace of Lexington, South Carolina; 6 grandchildren, Alexander W. Brace, Andrew J. Brace, Meili R. Brace, Tiffiny S. Rhodes, Olivia V. Martin and Patrick W. Barton; and 3 great-grandchildren, Bentley M. Martin, Christopher Joel (C. J.) Barton and Hatley Jean Bridgmon. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, John Milton Cole Visitation for Mrs. Jackson will be held Monday morning, March 31, 2014, starting at 10:00 a.m. in the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Marvin Creelman officiating. A graveside service will take place at 3:00 p.m. in the St. Francis Memorial Cemetery in Desloge. Memorials may be made to the Cancer organization of your choice.
