Ronald Earl Ketchum, 79, passed away Saturday evening, February 15, 2014, at his residence in Doniphan.
Ron was born November 19, 1934, to Earl Jesse and Lorena (Swanson) Ketchum in Aurora, Illinois. He moved to Rockford, Illinois, as a child. Mr. Ketchum lived and worked in Rockford and Florida as a homebuilder retiring to Doniphan in 2007.
He married Wilma (Miller) Wolverton in 1982 and she survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Debra (and Bob) King of Dahlongega, Georgia, and Cindy Holt of Thomson, Georgia; three step-daughters, Vicki Graves of Machnesay Park, Illinois, Brenda (and Frank) Gaultiere of Gurnee, Illinois, and Julia Fernandez of Bloomfield, Missouri; one stepson, Ronald Wolverton of Doniphan; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Carol Torres of Clearwater, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Lorena and one brother, Marvin.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, February 22, 2014, at First Church of God in Doniphan from 1 - 3 p.m.
