Lawrence "Larry Bob" Sullivan, 73, of Granite City, Illinois, died Saturday, February 8, 2014, in Christian NE Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Mr. Sullivan, son of Lawrence and Ruth (Jones) Sullivan, was born August 31, 1941, in Doniphan, Missouri. He had been an over-the-road truck driver. Mr. Sullivan enjoyed fishing, camping and painting.
He was married to Ruby Sullivan on February 10, 1974, in Doniphan and she survives.
Also surviving are four step-children: Vickie Bender of St. Louis, Linda Beal and Louie Medley, both of Mountain Grove, Missouri, and David Medley of Granite City; one sister, Ruthann Robertson of Doniphan; one niece, Deanna Burns of Doniphan; one great-niece and three great-great-nieces; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Tinette Cook.
Visitation will start Thursday, February 13, 2014, at noon in the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Danny Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
