Marton Homer Wilkerson, 71, of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013, at the Southeast Health Center of Ripley County in Doniphan.
Mr. Wilkerson, son of the late Martin Forest and Amie (Williams) Wilkerson, was born May 14, 1941, in Myrtle, Missouri, and was a lifelong resident of Oregon and Ripley Counties.
He was a heavy equipment operator and enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing music, dancing and was an ordained minister.
Surviving are three sons: Terry Wilkerson (Amy) of Blanchard, Oklahoma, and Keith Wilkerson (Susan) and Rick Wilkerson, both of Riverton; one daughter, Bonnie Reynolds (Kenny) of Doniphan; two brothers, Jimmy Wilkerson (Joann) of Couch, Missouri, and Jerry Wilkerson (Lori) of Riverton.
Funeral services for Mr. Wilkerson will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at the Riverton Church in Riverton. Visitation will be held from 5-8 PM Monday evening at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. Burial will be at the Riverton Cemetery.
