Obituary of Laura Baugh

Laura M. Baugh, 71, of Doniphan, Missouri, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013, at her home. Mrs. Baugh, daughter of Thomas and Evea (Ogilvie) Payne, was born November 24, 1941, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She was a homemaker who enjoyed raising her four sons. In later years she savored spending time with her grandchildren and caring for her dogs. On November 18, 1961, she married Leonard Allen Baugh in Poplar Bluff. He survives. Also surviving are four sons: Steve Baugh and his wife, Regina of Ozark, Missouri; Jimmy Baugh and his wife, Sharon, John Baugh, and Bobby Baugh and his wife, Jill, all of Doniphan; five grandchildren, Shaina Marie, Ryan Allen, Macy Holland, Mia Kaylynn and Harper Laura; her mother, Evea Payne and one sister, Kathy Young and her husband, Larry, all of Poplar Bluff; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding Mrs. Baugh in death were her father, Thomas Oren Payne, and one brother, Larry Thomas Payne. A graveside service was held Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at Antioch Cemetery in Oxly, Missouri. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully asks that donations be made to MD Anderson Cancer Center in her memory.
