Donald Wayne Payne, 74, of Doniphan, Missouri, died Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at his residence in rural Doniphan.
Mr. Payne, son of Raymond and Ester (Stevens) Payne, was born December 11, 1938, in Success, Arkansas. He had been a cell room operator with Big Rivers Zinc. Mr. Payne was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and was an active member of the NRA.
Surviving are seven children: Richard Wayne Hill, David Ray Payne, Donald Edward Payne, Jason Everett Payne, Vickie Marie Payne, Carla Jo Payne and Tamra Lea Land; and one sister, Wanda Rose Everett.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Robbin "Bob" Payne, one sister, Diana Nadine Payne Hughes and one brother, Albert Lee Payne.
Visitation will be held Monday, March 25, 2013, from 2 - 4 pm at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. A private graveside service will be in the Caldeonia Cemetery in Caldeonia, Missouri.
