Edward C. "Pete" Lapar, 85, of Grandin, Missouri, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri.
Mr. Lapar, son of the late Ed and Mary (Secrse) Lapar, was born June 12, 1927, in Carter County, Missouri. He had been a logger and was a mechanic of everything.
He was married to Vada Goes at Grandin on December 29, 1962, and she preceded him in death on December 12, 2009.
Visitation will be Saturday morning, March 23, 2013, from 9 - 11 a.m. at the Edwards Funeral Home in Doniphan. A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Stephens Cemetery on K highway near Doniphan.
