Obituary of John Anthony Lalanne, Sr.

John Anthony Lalanne, Sr. was born May 22, 1961, and departed this life Friday, December 15, 2023, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center, in Poplar Bluff, MO, at the age of 62. John loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

 

John was preceded in death by his father, Jack C. Lalanne, Jr.; a sister-in-law, Vanessa Lalanne; and a stepson, Ryan Theriot.

 

Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Darlene Lalanne of Doniphan, MO; two sons, John A Lalanne, II and wife, Ramsey, of Jennings, LA, and Jacob P. Lalanne and wife, Valorie, of Lake Arthur, LA; and one daughter, Scarlet Leigh Broussard and husband, Keith, of Sulphur, LA; a stepson, Daniel Davenport of Virginia Beach, VA. Also surviving are his mother, Ella Billedeaux Lalanne of Coral Springs, FL; two sisters, Melissa Harrison and husband, John, of Coral Springs, FL and Sheila Herman and husband, Harold, of Iowa, LA; one brother, Jack C. Lalanne, III of Iowa, LA; 20 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

 

The family will have a private memorial at a later date.
