Virginia D. Farmer, 80-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Monday, August 7, 2023, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. She was born January 10, 1943, in Pemiscot County, to the late Henry and Hettie (New) Garner.

 

Virginia loved and doted on her granddaughter, Danielle. She enjoyed watching St. Louis Cardinal baseball, and her cats were dear pets that kept her company.

 

Surviving are her sons, Perry (Michelle) Farmer of Poplar Bluff and Terry (Phyllis) Farmer of Highlandville, MO, and granddaughter, Danielle Farmer.

 

Virginia was preceded in death by a brother, Bud Garner, and four sisters, Ina Ellis, Francis Perren, Mary West, and Ollie Motley.

 

The family will have a private memorial at a later date.
