Obituary of Willard Lee Wilds

Willard “Willie” Lee Wilds, 79, of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Wednesday, August 9, 2023. He was born November 17, 1943, in Grandin, MO, to the late Harry Wilds and Iva (Jorden) Lewis.

Willie had been employed with Waterloo. He was an avid reader and enjoyed collecting miniature cars. Willie attended Bellview Baptist Church and looked forward to each opportunity he had to attend.

On June 12, 2005, Willie married Carrolyn “Carol” Wilds at Good Hope Church in Grandin. She survives. Also surviving are three stepchildren, Gay Gilbert, Lori Skinner, and Jill Massey, all of Illinois.

Willie was preceded by his siblings including a sister, Evelyn Ann Jenkins, and brothers, Charles Wilds and John Wilds.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Bellview Baptist Church. Brother Jerry Cooper will be officiating.
