Brother Hubert was our pastor, friend, and our cousin! In my eyes, he was a great man of God! What an inspiration to me and many others. Brother Hubert baptized me, and my great grandmother Effie Walker, and she was his aunt! She was in her 80s when she was baptized. I remember Brother Hubert preaching on local AM radio station KDFN 1500 Sunday at 4PM. Brother Hubert preached my Dads funeral also. Those of us who knew him, were blessed to sit under his pastorship. I am saddened to learn of his passing and send love and condolences to the family. Howard Slayton

Hubert was a very special person in my families life. I was raised out around Simpson Creek community and we always thought of him as family. My mom thought so much of him. We will all miss him very much. My love and Prayers to all of the family.
