i am deeply sorry to the family of Val and Eli. It is the most horrible thing that could ever happen ton a family i've known her since we were kids... Also both of their lives were in Gods hands and i know that he is gonna take care of them. Such a heartbreaking experience

I've been following this article, I live close to Mt Vernon il I'm so sorry for the loss of these to beautiful people. Valerie was such a wonderful person. I met her back when she worked at McDonalds, we had worked together. She was so easy to get along with, easy to work with, and always laughing and smiling. This is so sad to hear, along with one of her precious babies. She was such a great mother, and cared for children. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.. So sorry for your loss.

I am so very sorry for your losses. I didn't know Valerie very well and haven't seen her for some years but still felt like I needed to offer my condolences to you.
