Sherley Mae Loomis, 77, of Doniphan, Missouri, passed away at her residence Wednesday, February 10, 2016.
Ms. Loomis, daughter of Sherman and Arbutus (Hamilton) Fox, was born February 6, 1939, in Waterloo, Iowa. She had been a medical technician in the healthcare profession. Ms. Loomis enjoyed reading and being with her family, especially her grandchildren.
On October 19, 1957, she was married to Harold Loomis in Shell Rock, Iowa, and he preceded her in death on September 26, 1999.
Surviving are 5 daughters: Lori Hopkins, Sharri Switzer and Kristi Epperson, all of Doniphan, Ashleymarie Fox of New Jersey and Lani Watson of Paragould, Arkansas; 1 son, Earl Loomis of Belleview, Missouri; 2 sisters, Carlene Forrester and Sharmin Bowen; 2 brothers Lawerence Fox and Sherman Fox; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will take place Saturday, February 13, 2016, at noon at Towles Cemetery in Doniphan with Brother Carr officiating.
