I met Ken in 1962 while rehearsing for a rock band. We practiced in the cavernous and echo-laden marble living room. There was some kind of screeching myna bird interrupting our tunes.
I ran into him again in the early 70s when we were both living in NewTown. He had a full-dress Harley in his walkup apartment.
Amazingly, he had recently joined a Chicago outlaw motorcycle club. I had a BSA at the time and we rode up to Milwaukee several times.
I'll never forget Ken. He was larger than life!
