Sarah Kathryn Price, 52, of Gatewood, MO, departed this life Thursday, February 19, 2026, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She was born March 27, 1973, in Pocahontas, AR, to the late Gerald and Wanda Kathryn “Kathy” (Fulfer) Massey.

Sarah’s daughter and family were the center of her world. She poured her heart into the people she loved. She had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, whether she was working in the yard, tending to her flowers and garden, or relaxing with a fishing pole in her hand. Sarah also enjoyed traveling and taking in the sights around her, always eager for a new view or a quiet moment on the road. Known for her sense of humor, Sarah loved to make others laugh. Her warmth, easy smile, and her ability to brighten a room will be remembered by all who knew her.

Surviving is her daughter, Hailey Price of Poplar Bluff, MO; a sister, Becky (Brian) Hinton of Gatewood; a brother, Gerald Massey, Jr., also of Gatewood; a special friend and companion, Justin McMonigle; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, John Price, and her sister-in-law, Kari Massey.

Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, beginning at noon with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in the Warm Springs Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Gerald Massey, Gerald Jones, Garrett Massey, Justin McMonigle, Justin Howard, Josh Redus, and Brandon Cook.
