Beverly Diane Wayman, 76-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Monday, February 16, 2026. She was born February 11, 1950, in Wood River, IL, to the late John and Marjorie (Runion) Steward.

Beverly devoted her life to her family and poured her love into the home and people she cherished. As a homemaker, she found joy in preparing delicious, nourishing meals and in the countless acts of care that made her family feel supported and deeply loved. She had a talent for crafting and delighted in making beautiful things, both to brighten her own home and to share with others as heartfelt gifts. The daughter of a minister, Beverly attended church wherever her father was called to serve.

On May 3, 1968, Beverly married Richard Billy Wayman in Doniphan, and he survives. Also surviving are her children, Jeanette (Buddy) Ward and Johnny Paul (Heather) Wayman, all of Doniphan; sisters, Brenda (James) Berry of Poplar Bluff, MO and Rita (Anthony) Futrell of Doniphan; and brothers, John (Linda) Steward of Fairdealing, MO and Danny (Kim) Steward of Doniphan. She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Matthew (Sarah Welch) Hoefer, Wyatt Wayman, and Jo Ann Wayman.

In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald Paul Steward and Dallas Steward.

Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, February 19, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Jeremy Futrell will be officiating, and burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
