Josephine Crews (Jackson), 47, of Doniphan, MO, reunited with her momma and angel babies in Heaven on Friday, February 13th, 2026, in her home after a courageous battle with cancer. 

Josephine was the front desk manager at Rocky River Inn for many seasons. At work and in her personal life she was known as the structure, grace, and glue. She loved BBQ-ing, spending time with family and friends, back-roading, watching movies, making people laugh, building bonds, and stepping into every situation with good intentions. But her truest joy was sharing moments with her grandbabies.

Josephine leaves behind her children, Kandis (Tristan), Dayvon, and Daysha Crews of Doniphan: chosen children, Cheyenne (Aaron) DeGroot and Nathan Cato of Doniphan and Owen Rigdon of Springfield; sisters, Veronica Crews of Springfield, Cathy (Karl IV) Stansell of McMinnville, Beth Rigdon of Doniphan, and Glenda Phelps of Macon; brothers, Bobby Crews of Grandin and Rick Phelps of Marion; grandsons, Xayne and Ezekiel Crews of Doniphan; nieces Harley Stansell (Ava) of McMinnville. Carli (Jarret and Bonnie) Trube of Doniphan, Kyra Crews of Poplar Bluff, and Haylee Crews of Marshville; nephews, Karl Stansell (V) of McMinnville, Xander Crews of Poplar Bluff, Kingston and Kayden Crews of Grandin; with a special place in her heart for her great niece and namesake Charlotte Josephine of McMinnville. The light she made shine in the lives of everyone around her will be deeply missed. 

Services will be held on Tuesday, February 17th, 2026, at 6 PM with Pastor Callum Reavey officiating. Visitation will begin at 5 pm on Tuesday at Edwards Funeral Home.
