Nickie Jene Hopkins, 50, of Doniphan, MO, departed this life, Saturday, January 17, 2026. She was born March 10, 1975, in Dexter, MO, to Linda (Hyde) Nierman of Doniphan and the late David Lee Knowlton.

Nickie was known for her endearing and sentimental personality. She cherished each moment and the people around her. She also enjoyed crafting, where both her creativity and artistry would shine.

Surviving is her daughter, Felicia Hopkins of Doniphan; her son, Colton Michael Hopkins of Oklahoma City, OK; a sister, Tina (Mark) Capps of Doniphan; and her brother, Eric Babcock of St. Petersburg, FL. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Kimber, Kendra, Kandis, Lawton, and Sheamus, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, beginning at noon with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in Hunt-White Memorial Gardens.
