Beverly Sue Pippin, 91, of Doniphan, Mo, departed this life Thursday, January 8, 2026. She was born May 26, 1934, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Claude Smithson and Jewell (Murdock) Kirby.

As a homemaker, Beverly’s home was filled with love and warmth, welcoming friends and family alike. For 15 years, Beverly served as a school bus driver for Orchard Farm School District in St. Charles, MO. Over the years she also worked alongside her husband, C H, as they owned and operated several service stations in St. Charles and later in Doniphan. Beverly was also active with the Ripley County Saddle Club, where she once again worked alongside her husband. In quieter moments, Beverly enjoyed relaxing with puzzles, playing solitaire and dominoes, and spending time camping where she appreciated the beauty of nature and peaceful scenery surrounding her. Beverly was a devoted member of the Doniphan Church of Christ.

On April 5, 1952, Beverly married C H Pippin in Pocahontas, AR. He preceded her in death on December 21, 2017. She was also preceded by her brothers, Claude Ray Smithson, Jr., Max Smithson, and Donald Smithson; a sister-in-law, Glee Freeman; a grandson, Seth Pippin; and a grandson-in-law, Darrell Roark.

Surviving are her sons, Donald Pippin of Philo, IL, Michael Pippin of Doniphan, and C. Lane Pippin, also of Doniphan; a daughter, Cindi (Mike) Thompson of Wentzville, MO; brothers, Joe Kirby and Robert (Christi) Kirby, all of Doniphan; and sisters-in-law, Helen Pigg and Shelbia McGonigal, both of Doniphan. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Amy (Jason) Heggemeyer, Alexa (Robert) Nichols, Elizabeth Pippin, Ashley Roark, Chad (Alex) Thompson, and Brice (Meghan) Thompson; great-grandchildren, Laney, Kenzie, Connor, Cooper, Levi, Nash, Calvin, Ellie Kate, Liam, Brook, and Landyn; as well as one great-great-grandchild, Colten.

Visitation will be held at the Doniphan Church of Christ on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. with the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Gary Crockett will be officiating, and burial will be in the Doniphan City Cemetery.
