Harry Robert “Bob” Wilson, 70-year-old resident of Ripley County, Mo departed this life Thursday, January 1, 2026, at his residence.  Bob was born May 20, 1955, in Staunton, IL to the late William F. and Thelma L. Thompson Wilson. 

He was a truck driver for 47 years and loved hunting, fishing, drinking beer, and especially spending time with his grandchildren.  He had also served in the US Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Velda Ann Wilson, Faye Roberts, brother Paul Wilson, and sister-in-law Sherry Wilson and son-in-law Justin Strong.

On May 7, 1993, in Pocahontas, AR he was married to Virginia Watson, who survives.   Also surviving are his children, Tiffany Harris (Tim Collins)of Doniphan; Mary Strong (Jeff Surtin) of Nixa, MO; Robert Wilson of Doniphan; Eric Wilson of Doniphan; Victoria (Cliff) Moore of Doniphan; Loretta (Tim) Ralph of Columbia, MO; sister Maxine Null of Pekin, IL; brothers Eugene Wilson of St. Roberts, MO; Calvin Wilson of Eunice, MO; Roger Wilson of Licking, MO; 14 grandchildren Breann, Kaitlyn, Judd(Kaylee), Samantha(Robert), Hannah, Hunter, Alex (Shaina), Eli, Eric, Lillian, C.J(Hannaha)., William, Jason, Silas; 6 great-grandchildren, and a slew of bonus kids, many bonus grandchildren and bonus great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-law.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
