Marshal Dale Smith, 63-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the Walnut St. Boarding Home. He was born November 17, 1962, in Ripley County, to the late Marshal H.and Gladys Irene (Walker) Smith.

Marshal enjoyed coloring, collecting jewelry, and road trips.

He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.

Surviving are his brothers and sisters, Marilyn Bass of St. Louis, Lynn Smith of Oxly, Dick Smith of Watervliet, MI, Bill Smith of Simpsonville, SC, Gurald Smith of Fairdealing, Tom Slayton of Oklahoma City, OK and Bill Slayton of Fenton.

Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, January 2, 2026, beginning at noon with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Brother Kent Wilfong will be officiating.  Graveside services will follow at Antioch Cemetery.
