Shannon Annette (Griffin) Henson passed away on December 14, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO after being ill for several months.

She was born March 23, 1969, to Carter and Sue Griffin.

She was saved and baptized at a young age. She was of the Baptist faith.

Shannon was a kind and very loving person. She was always willing to encourage everyone. Her smile was always present no matter how bad she felt. She was known for spoiling her nephews, nieces, and fur babies.

She is survived by her parents, spouse Damon, and one sister Jennifer (Jason) Armstrong of Doniphan, MO, niece Casse Redus of Pocahontas, AR, nephew Brenon (Stephanie) Johnson of Doniphan, MO, great-nieces Huntley, Kimberlynn, and Elaina, and great-nephews Wesson and Logan. She also leaves behind her fur babies Lily and Yadi.

She was preceded in death by her sister Tisha Johnson and her nephew Jesse Redus.

Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, December 18, 2025, beginning at 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at noon.
