Marvin Hall, 83-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Tuesday, December 9, 2025. He was born September 13, 1942, in Sale City, GA, to the late Charlie M. and Florence (Herrington) Hall.

Marvin lived a life marked by hard work, devotion to his family, and a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He spent many years working in the Boiler Room for the Campbell Soup Company. After retiring, he moved to Doniphan where he began Hall’s Roofing, a venture that reflected his skill and dedication to his work. An avid outdoorsman, Marvin enjoyed hunting and fishing. When he wasn’t outside, he loved relaxing while watching a good Western on TV and getting into the fast pace and thrill of a NASCAR race. Marvin was grounded in his Christian faith and attended Logan Creek Church. He had proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. This was a service he carried with honor throughout his life.

On March 14, 1964, Marvin married Mary (Albers) Hall in Fennville, MI. She survives. Also surviving are his children, Doug (Kelli) Hall of Doniphan, Denise (Jim) Hoyt of Poplar Bluff, MO, Kyle (Patty) Hall of Doniphan, and Ken (Lisa) Hall of Ellsinore, MO. He also leaves behind a brother, Raymond (Anne) Hall of Cross, SC; a step brother, Irvin Duffey of Doniphan; grandchildren, Brittany, Trystan (Heather), Emily (Blake), Ellie (Will), Alex (Alexis), Corey (Lexa), Samantha (Nathan), Preston, Kylie, Laynie, Ashley, Jacob (Alixia), and Austin (Faith); and great-grandchildren, Lane, Raelyn, Aubree, Zayne, Emmett, Conner, Ethan, Emma, Emily, Jackson, Caden, Kholson, and Millie.

Marvin was preceded in death by his brothers, Cranford and George Hall; sisters-in-law, Inez and Ellen Hall; and a great-grandchild, Liam.

Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, December 22, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will also be held on Monday beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, MO.
