Wick Wickham Obituary

Deloy “Wick” Wickham, 89-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Monday, December 1, 2025. He was born January 22, 1936, in Dayton, ID, to the late Montel and Margretta Wickham.


Wick proudly served for 10 years in the United States Air Force. He served during the Korean War. Following his military service, he gained a career with the United States Postal Service where he continued to serve his community. Wick loved the excitement and thrill of competitive sports, especially PBR (Professional Bull Riding) and football. Being a native Idahoan and continued Idahoan at heart, his loyalty to the Boise State Broncos football never wavered, even after his move to Doniphan. Wick’s faith was the foundation of his life. He attended Oak Grove Church of God and was known for his deep knowledge of scripture having read the Bible in its entirety every year for 25 years. He lived out the principles he studied, setting an example of integrity, kindness, and steadfast faith. Wick’s life was one of service having served his country, family, church, and community.


On May 20, 1965, Wick married Shirley (Whitesell) Wickham in Twin Falls, ID. She survives. Also surviving are his daughters, Marci (Bobby) Pawson of Doniphan and Misti (Michael) Williams of Kuna, ID, and a son, Wade (Shelli) Wickham of Wendell, ID. He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.


Wick was preceded in death by all of siblings which included a sister, LaWana Farner, and brothers, Clair, LaMoine, and DuWayne Wickham.


A viewing was held at Farnsworth Mortuary in Jerome, Idaho followed by a graveside service in Richfield, Idaho.
