Sharon K. Johnson, 77, of Park Hills, MO, departed this life Friday, November 21, 2025. She was born July 12, 1948, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Clayton and Vera (Forsythe) Cato.

With her versatile skills, Sharon had served in several meaningful ways, working as a certified nursing assistant and later as a correctional officer. These careers reflected her compassion and resilience Outside of her professional life, Sharon enjoyed spending time camping and fishing. She usually had her little dogs by her side as her companions. They were a source of comfort and happiness for Sharon.

Surviving is her son, Walter “Walt” (Shannon) Wells of Doniphan; daughter, Sharon Harrelson of Park Hills, MO; and two grandchildren, Melanie Wells and Walter Wells.

Sharon was preceded in death by a son, Eugene Cato, and her brothers, Richard Cato, Wayne Cato, and Gail Cato.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Price Cemetery.
