Laurie Kathryn Crader, 65-year-old resident of Fairdealing, MO, departed this life Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO.  She was born April 16, 1960, in Delavan, WI, to the late Eugene “Gene” and Barbara (Davis) Shreves.

Laurie enjoyed a variety of hobbies ranging from quiet moments reading to spending time on the beach watching the waves roll along the shore to cheering on her favorite football team, the Green Bay Packers. Her love of the outdoors included camping, traveling, and exploring new places. Her greatest joy, however, came from being a devoted mother and grandmother and creating lasting memories and making the most of every moment spent together.

Laurie was married to Daniel Ray Crader on March 5, 1981, in Doniphan. He preceded her in death on August 21, 2015. She was also preceded by a daughter, Amy Louise Jett; and a son, Jeffrey Boaz Crader.

Surviving are her children, Edward Gene Crader, Adam Maxwell Crader and Kristen, Jason Crader, Daniel “Danny” Crader, and Sonja Foster and Andy; her siblings, Paul Shreves and Cindy, Eugene “Geno” Shreves and Jenean, Maribeth Colberg and Francis, and Sara Bode and David; and grandchildren, Collin Mattingly, Riley Mattingly, Abigail “Abby” Mattingly, December Crader, Addyson Crader, Jeffrey Crader, Ashleigh Crader, Kimberly Crader, Heather Lester, Matthew Crader, Kolbee Crader, Kolton Crader, Ember Berry, Jean-Paul Foster, and Annabelle Foster. She also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
