Sandra Fay Decker, 71-year-old life-long resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Saturday, November 15, 2025. She was born October 30, 1954, in Doniphan, to the late Carl and Betty (Joplin) Brooks.

Sandra had a remarkable gift for finding beauty and treasures. Whether she was browsing a yard sale, wandering through a flea market, or exploring the aisles of Goodwill, she delighted in each new item she found. Sandra also found fulfillment in tending to her garden. Her family was her constant focus. She was fiercely dedicated and totally devoted to them.

On April 7, 1972, Sandra married Ronnie Decker in Doniphan. He survives. Also surviving are her children, Dana (Jerry) Hollon and “Bud" (Jami) Decker, all of Doniphan; a brother Carl “Sonny” (Vicki) Brooks; five grandchildren, Derek Lindsey, Jacob Lindsey, Taylor Decker, Carly Decker, and Mary Wallace; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by an infant son, Shannon Ray Decker. and a sister, Cheryl Schrimsher.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. at Macedonia Cemetery. Jim Kelly will be officiating.
