Bruce Wayne Wilson, 75-year-old resident of Ripley County, MO, departed this life Friday, November 7, 2025, at his residence.  Mr. Wilson was born April 28, 1950, in Berring, Michigan, to the late Luther and Billie Miller Wilson.

Bruce was of the General Baptist faith and had worked in St. Louis for several years. Upon retirement he moved to God’s Country in Ripley County.  He loved to play the guitar, hunt, and fish, especially jugging.

On February 6, 2013, Bruce married Sam Wilson in Doniphan.  She survives.  Also surviving are his children, Bruce Ray Wilson of Doniphan, MO, Leah Ann Cole of Owensboro, KY, Loni Swigert of Ellsinore, MO, and Krystal Pitts of Van Buren, MO; sisters, Stella Griffin and Donna Roam both of Grandin, MO, and Pauletta Matthews of Poplar Bluff, MO; and brother,  Rodney Wilson of Ellsinore, MO; and 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Lonnie and Danny Wilson.

Funeral Services for Mr. Wilson will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 2:00 PM in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation will begin at Noon on Tuesday.  Bro. Pete Joplin will be officiating, and burial will be in Grandin Cemetery.
