Eric Scott Brown, 44, of Poplar Bluff, MO, departed this life Thursday, October 30, 2025. He was born June 5, 1981, in Poplar Bluff to Patrick Brown of Doniphan, MO and Juanita (Downs) Brown of Naylor, MO.

Eric was a hard worker who used his many skills in a variety of trades, from factories to sawmills. He was quick to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His willingness to help others and his kind nature endeared him to all who knew him. Eric was seldom seen without a ball cap which earned him the nickname “Mario”.

Surviving are his parents, Patrick and Juanita; sisters, Casey Cora and Brittany Hammond, both of Doniphan; and brothers, Bryan Brown, also of Doniphan and Matthew Brown of Briar, MO. Eric also leaves behind a large extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends and coworkers.

Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
