Robert “Bob” Clayton Murray, 88, a lifelong resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Monday, October 20, 2025. He was born on February 25, 1937, in Doniphan, MO, to the late Ed and Minnie (Kempf) Murray.

A barber by trade, Bob enjoyed friendly conversation with his customers. Outside of work, he spent time with two of his favorite interests, woodworking and taxidermy.

On April 19, 1977, Bob married Sandra (Lawrence) Murray in Clay County, AR, and she preceded him in death On February 9, 2014. He was also preceded by two sisters, Alice Carson and Bertha Kitterman; and brothers, Edward Murray and Elvin Murray.

Surviving are his children, Rick Murray, Robin (Hal) Vickers, and Russell Murray, all of Doniphan; a sister, Lorene (Doug) Rodgers of Granite City, IL; and a brother, Cecil (Gladys) Murray of Doniphan. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Richard Eric (April) Murray, Levon (Megan) Vickers, Kelsi Vickers, Riane (Austin Leroux) Murray, Jonathan Murray, and Madeline Murray, and great-grandchildren, Jase Vickers, Maci Vickers, Kyann Vickers, Cypruss Leroux, Quinn Leroux and Axl Murray.

The family will have a private memorial at a later date.
