Mary E. Weinreich Obituary

Mary E. Weinreich (Tillman), 81, of Trussville, Alabama, formerly of Doniphan, MO, passed away Saturday, August 23rd, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family who loved her very much.


Mary, oldest child of Lloyd and Margaret Tillman, was born and raised in Doniphan and later moved with her husband, Jake, and children to Trussville, AL where she lived and worked for over 40 years.  Mary never met a stranger and loved her family and friends deeply.  She enjoyed cooking, reading, traveling and playing Bingo.  Her home was always filled with joy and laughter.


Mary is survived by her husband, Jacob Weinreich, and their children, Patrick, Victoria and Thomas Jacob (TJ) Weinreich, brothers, George Tillman of Anchorage, Alaska and Cecil Tillman (Kim) of Ashville, Alabama, special nieces and nephews Charles, Caryn, Richard, Brad, Kacie, John and Lori and several great nieces and nephews.


Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Margaret Tillman, sister, Margaret Turner and daughter-in-law, Jeanne Weinreich (Patrick) and daughter-in-law, Neva Weinreich (TJ).


Mary was the glue of the family.  She was a rock in times of trouble and always had a welcoming shoulder to lean on.  Her family is so grateful for the life and legacy she is leaving behind.  They will all carry the unfailing love she bestowed on their lives forever.


A graveside service will be held Friday, August 29, 2025, at New Hope Cemetery, Doniphan, MO.
