Ronnie Joe Hubbard, 77 years old, passed away at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO, on Sunday, August 17th, 2025. Ronnie was a life-long resident of the Briar community. He had worked in the timber trade most of his life.

Ronnie was an avid sports fan, loved baseball, basketball, and also played with the local teams. He watched all the major teams and local ones as well. He attended most of the local games when he was able to. Ronnie was also an avid hunter of deer, coyote, fox, and rabbit, and always had his dog pen full of dogs, which he still has 10 now. He kept the community supplied with dog feed for several years for Fox & Wolf Hunters Association.

Surviving is one sister, Kay (John) Hudson from Doniphan, MO, one brother, Lyndal (Ginny) Hubbard from Briar, several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Reva (Snodgrass) Hubbard, and two sisters, Donna Lenderman from Doniphan, MO and Brenda (Fred) Henson of Briar.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 19th, 2025, at 12:00 noon at Edwards Funeral Home with the funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. Brother Jim Kelly will be officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Ridge Church of God Cemetery at Briar.
