Steven Lawrence Henning, 58-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Monday, August 4, 2025, surrounded by his wife and children, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, MO. He was born May 30, 1967, in Oceola, AR, to the late George and Virginia (Barnes) Henning. Following in his father’s footsteps, Steve was a commercial electrician.

On May 27, 1989, Steve married Martha Jane (Russell) Henning in Doniphan, MO. She survives. Also surviving are his children, Stephanie Hale of Poplar Bluff, MO, Jennifer (Nicole) Henning of Corning, AR, and Michael Henning of Jonesboro, AR, and sisters, Debi Henning Snyder of Doniphan, Beverly Nicholson also of Doniphan, and Rebecca Kirkland, of Poplar Bluff, MO. He also leaves behind dear friends of the family, Nick and Amanda Hawkins of Doniphan.

In addition to his parents, Steve was also preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Suzanna Henning, and maternal grandparents, Woodrow and Laura Sue Barnes.

The family will have a private memorial at a later date.
