Robert “Bob” Gambling, 74, of Doniphan, MO, departed this life July 4, 2025. He was born March 15, 1951, in Carter County, MO, to the late Emmett and Christeen (McCallister) Gambling.

Bob proudly served his country in the United States Navy where he received both a medical and honorable discharge. Following his military service, he spent his career as an over-the-road truck driver. Bob was also a skilled mechanic, often found working on vehicles in his spare time.

On April 18, 1970, Bob married Edith Ann “Diane” (Sorenson) Gambling in Poplar Bluff, MO. She preceded him in death on May 9, 2010. He was also preceded by his children, including two sons, Kenneth “Kenny” Gambling and Steven Gambling and a daughter, Diana Macheal Neel; siblings, Geraldine Gambling, Thomas Gambling, Leroy Gambling, John Gambling, and Lloyd Gambling; and a grandson, Bryce Gambling.

Surviving are his sisters, Agnes LaBine of Poplar Bluff, MO, Jewell Percy and Pat Gamblin, both of Doniphan, and Shirley Collier of Senath, MO; brothers, David Gambling of Chelsie, OK, Billy Gambling of Adair, OK, Larry Gambling, also of Adair, OK, Raymond Gambling of Land O’Lakes, FL, and Roy Gambling of Fairdealing. He also leaves behind daughters-in-law, Tanesha Gambling of Doniphan and Lindsay Gambling of Counce, TN, and grandchildren, Taylor Gambling, Kayden Gambling, Kaila Matthews, Lydia Vivian, Dylan Gambling, and Blayn Gambling.

Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, July 11, 2025, beginning at noon with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Sister Debbie Roberson will be officiating, and burial will be in Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
