Wilma L. Holland, 96-year-old lifetime resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Saturday, May 10, 2025.  She was born in Ripley County on May 7, 1929, to the late Arthur and Dorothy (Boyd) Keeney.

Wilma worked for many years as a packer at Vitronic where she formed lasting friendships with her coworkers. Yet her true calling was creating a loving and welcoming home for her family. A devoted homemaker, Wilma found joy in many of life’s simple pleasures such as spending time in her garden, watching birds, caring for her beloved pets, and working on puzzles. She was a member of the Doniphan Church of Christ.

On September 15, 1947, Wilma married Gene C. Holland in Pocahontas, AR. He preceded her in death on February 18, 1989. She was also preceded by a son, Brent Holland, a grandson, Phillip Holland, and a sister, Peggy Elkins.

Surviving is her daughter Martha Frances (Lial) Holland of Doniphan; a granddaughter, Jennifer (Michael) Byrd; and a great-grandson, Jesse Sharp.

Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, beginning at 2:00 p.m. with a graveside service to follow at 3:00 p.m. at the Doniphan City Cemetery. Brother Steve Collins will officiate the service.
