Larry W. West, 75-year-old resident of Poplar Bluff, MO, departed this life Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. He was born February 11, 1950, in Lake County, TN, to the late Odis and Mattie (Prince) West.

Larry had been a row crop farmer, a vocation that brought him satisfaction and reward. He was known for his love of life and cherished spending time with his friends, often enjoying social gatherings. Above all, Larry had found peace and purpose through his faith and relationship with God.

On February 15, 2001, Larry married Della Mae Wietz. She preceded him in death on November 5, 2017. Also preceding him in death was five brothers, Odell, Lloyd, Harvey, Bruce, and Corby West; and three sisters, Doris Wilkins, Jeanette Edwards, and Carrie "Sissy" Hancock.

Larry is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and other family members.

A graveside service will be held Monday, March 3, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at Poplar Bluff City Cemetery.
