Obituary of Brock Louis King

Brock Louis King, 62-year-old resident of Grandin, MO, departed this life Sunday, February 23, 2025. He was born May 1, 1962, in St. Louis, MO, to Goldie (Cothren) King of Poplar Bluff, MO and the late Frank Louis King.

Brock was a member of Good Hope Church. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and cherished his beloved dogs.

On May 17, 2014, Brock married Carla Ritchey at Big Springs in Van Buren, MO, and she survives. In addition to his wife and mother, also surviving are his step daughters, Misty House of Ellsinore, MO and Amanda Gramling of Rogers, AR; a sister, Jill (Dale) King Holman of Hillsboro, MO; and brothers, Bart (Kathren) King of Springfield, MO, Kelly (Janice) King of Bonne Terre, MO, Andy King of Fenton, MO, and Neal King of Poplar Bluff, MO; along with 10 step grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at Good Hope Church on Saturday, March 1, 2025, beginning at noon with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., also at Good Hope Church. Brother Pete Joplin will be officiating, and burial will be at Walton Chapel.
