The Dawes family lived across the field from our home and our families were close. My big brother was best friends with her son, Denny, and Sue cut my hair for free as a kid. She was such a sweet woman who was so kind to me before I moved out and away as a young man. Sue was funny, kind, and motherly. I have a lot of fond memories spending time with her and her family as a child. She will be in my thoughts and heart always, along with everyone else she touched in her journey through this life. I'm so thankful I got the opportunity to be blessed by Sue's love.

I did not know Mrs Dawes well. However, I have come to know her family well. Her husband, Dennis and her two sons Jeff and Denny are fine men that have been family friends for decades. Her struggles were difficult and her family was there for the duration. My love and respect is there for all.
