Douglas Wade Robinson, 64, departed this life Sunday, February 16, 2025. He was born September 20, 1960, in Doniphan, MO, to the late Charles Edgar Robinson, Jr. and Artie Omega (Griffin) Robinson.

After graduating from Doniphan R-I, Doug went on to pursue his education at Crowley’s Ridge College and Freed Hardeman College, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in education. He returned to Doniphan to teach in the Doniphan School District for 20 years. Doug cherished time spent with family and friends. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outside, often riding his bike or floating the beautiful Current River. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Surviving is his sister, Charlotte (Sam) James; a nephew, Joshua James; nieces, Jessica (Kasey) Hunt and Jillian (Aaron) Klepzig; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Eli James, Brody, Miley and Tripp Hunt, and Brooklynn, Paysley, and Jaxon Klepzig.

The family will have a private service at a later date that will be officiated by Doug’s good friend, Kevin Payne.
