Ronald G. Pettes, II, 45-year-old resident of Doniphan, MO, departed this life Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. He was born October 4, 1979, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Ronald and Anita (Manley) Pettes.

Ronald cherished the outdoors and the natural beauty of Ripley County. He loved spending time floating Current River and fishing. His love for nature also extended to hunting and taking walks to enjoy the splendor of nature. Ronald had a deep love for music. Ronald also had an infectious, light-hearted personality, often keeping those around him laughing with his jokes and sense of humor.

Surviving is soulmate, Merril Ray; his children, Dylan Pettes, Georgia Pettes, and Zackery Pettes, all of Alton, MO, and Raiden Pettes of Poplar Bluff, MO; sisters, Tonya St. Cin of Fairdealing, MO, and Krystal Johnson of Ellsinore, MO; and a brother Shayne Lake of Russellville, MO. He was dearly loved by these and many other family members and friends.

Ronald was preceded in death by his brothers, Eugene Thomas Mosblech, Jr., David Wayne Pettes, and Leonard Pettes and a niece, Elisha Schmidt.

Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 7, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Hunt-White Memorial Gardens.
