Ruth Ann Dolph, 77, of Doniphan, MO, departed this life, Monday, January 20, 2025. She was born February 27, 1948, in Texarkana, AR, to the late Benjamin Louis and Claudean Jo (Walraven) Tubbs.

Ruth dedicated much of her life to caring for others through her work in home health. She enjoyed her work in the healthcare and service industry because she was a “people person”. Because of her outstanding personality, the first time you met her, you knew you would never forget her. In her free time she also enjoyed engaging in activities like working on word search puzzles, playing Bingo, and trying her luck with the lottery. Above all, Ruth’s greatest joy came from spending time with her beloved grandson, Kadin. She was one heck of a cougar and enjoyed her coffee and spending time with her best friend, Valerie.

Ruth had been married to Mike Dolph. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded by two sisters, Gloria Alexander and Joann McDanel; two brothers, Michael Tubbs and Kenny Tubbs; children, David Quinn Caples Murphy, Angie Caples Gossip, and Lester Caples; and a nephew, Robert Harvin.

Ruth is survived by her daughters, Angelina and Pamela; a sister, Linda Harvin, Sherrie Graves, and Barbara  Reylonds; a brother, Terry Don Tubbs; grandchildren, Kadin Emery, Damion Carr, Domonic Carr, Lauren (Harvey) Ruiz, Josh Moore, and Amber Clark of Mountain Home; a great-grandchild, Ellie Quinn Ruiz, and, and a special boyfriend of nine years, Larry Roberts. Larry changed Ruth Ann’s life and made her happy.

Visitation will be held in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, January 25, 2025, beginning at noon with a graveside service to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Mount Olive Cemetery.
