Irvin Crapo, 89-year-old resident of Doniphan, Missouri, departed this life peacefully at home with his family on Thursday February 15th, 2024. He was born May 26th, 1934, in Gatewood, MO to the late Claude and Ola (Reed) Crapo.

Irvin was self-employed at his family-owned business in Doniphan. He loved talking to people, telling stories, and sharing a warm smile. He never met a stranger and was always ready to help anyone in need. Irvin enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He also served in the United States Army.

In April of 1962, Irvin married Diana Green. She survives. Also surviving is his daughter, Tricia Crapo of Doniphan and his grandchildren, Nickolas and Derek Crapo also of Doniphan.

In addition to his parents, Irvin was preceded in death by his son, Jason Crapo, his sisters and brothers-in-law, Ruthie (Delmar) Newman and Robertha (Gaither) Newman, and brother, Warneal Crapo.
