Obituary of Jordan Michael Redus

Jordan Michael Redus, 26-year-old resident of Gatewood, MO, departed this life Tuesday, February 8, 2022. He was born November 5, 1995 in Poplar Bluff, MO to Sherman and Carol (Stidem) Redus.

 

Jordan was a deck hand on a Mississippi River barge. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with family and friends, especially at the lake. Jordan liked old trucks and adding to his gun collection. He attended Warm Springs Freewill Baptist Church when he was younger.

 

Surviving are his parents; brothers, John and Jason Redus; and his grandmother, Linda Redus; his nephews, Carter, Evan, and Hayden Redus; two nieces, Madilyn Redus and Kaydence Hoff; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

 

Jordan was preceded in death by his grandfather, Johnny Redus; grandfather, L. D. Stidem; grandmother, Wanda Stidem; three uncles; and one aunt.

 

Visitation will be in the Edwards Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, February 13, 2022 beginning at noon with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Russell Hensley will be officiating. Burial will be in the New Home Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Paul Lowden, Carter Redus, Alvin Stidem, Ethan Yount, Cody Tipton, Dakota Mooney, Ben Johnson, Charlie Sisco, and Jason Broderick.
